Hello everyone, i wondered if anyone has any tips for pruning/dead heading plants. I can't use normal secateurs or long loppers as they are too heavy and unwieldy for me due to my wrist fusions. My dad used to do alot of the gardening for us but has become too poorly with a bad chest now. Mike does alot of it but i do like to do my bit as i find gardening very relaxing.

I use rachet secateurs from Burgon & Ball that need much less pressure.

This sounds silly but I use a carving knife on soft growth that way there is only
one way movement rather than a grip Anne

Thank you Helix and Anne, I will try to look for the Burgon and Ball secateurs. I just use large scissors at the moment and leave the rest to my husband.
